We are pleased to be working with GMI on a much in demand new student accommodation building in York. After the success of Oldham Road and Bendix Street Manchester and Whitelock Street in Leeds, we are excited to be working with GMI again and will be onsite in late January\/early February 2024. We will be fabricating and installing Senior Architectural Systems products to these buildings.<\/p>\n

The \u00a322 million project which was secured after S Harrison Developments in York secured planning consent for student use in 2022 with York highlighted as having a severe lack of student accommodation. The four-storey building will comprise 108 individual studio rooms alongside 195 cluster bedrooms with shared living and dining rooms.<\/p>\n

The ground floor student amenity space will house a cinema, shared working spaces, a gym, laundry room and reception\/common room area, with parking spaces and a cycle store externally.<\/p>\n

Designed by CSP Architects of York, it includes landscaped areas, including a pocket park on the south east corner of the site.
